Terre Reely

South Carolina Men's Reentry Coordinator and Aiken/Sumter Outreach Worker
Dum Spiro Spero
While I Breathe, I Hope
Terre was born in Terre Haute, Indiana and was raised in Lexington, South Carolina. He first found recovery in 2001 and after seven years, Terre went through a series of overwhelming family issues resulting in him returning to use. Terre spent almost a year in jail after being arrested on several drug charges. He credits the final arrest with saving his life.
In November 2020, he was accepted as a reentry resident at Oxford House Morgin in Aiken, SC. He was introduced to the Oxford House model, which he found to be an incredibly impactful approach for reentries by providing a secure and safe haven to recover and rebuild.
Over the course of three years, Terre developed a profound passion for recovery. This passion inspired him to support and uplift others on their sobriety journey. He is a strong advocate for Oxford House and recovery in his community, sharing his experience, strength, and hope with everyone who needs to hear it.

Terre enjoys attending meetings, reading, kayaking, and is proud to say that on June 9th, 2023, he celebrated three years of sobriety. He is grateful for the opportunity to become a member of our outreach team and looks forward to serving reentries and Oxford House in any way possible.
